Here at Squiggle we have take balance bikes one step further and motorized them. Why? We find the majority of families enjoy walking along with their young ones while they are using their balance bikes, but find there is always a point where the little ones have had enough, leaving the parents to carry their standard bikes all the way home.

With Squiggle bikes, we guarantee this will never happen. You will find you will be taking the bike off them rather than carrying one home on the return trip. The concept of adding a motor adds so much more enjoyment for the little Squiggle rider, less physical stress for little legs, and of course….. everyone loves power!

All Squiggle bikes come with the following specifications.

Long Range Battery

The Squiggle battery has been updated to double the capacity of its previous model. The 4amp battery will now extended the riding range out 10-15kms depending on child’ weight.

Powder Coated Frame

At Squiggle, we want our products to last. Instead of spray painting, we powdercoat all our frames to ensure longevity

How long will my Squiggle ride time be?

Squiggle ride time, like with every electric bike, will vary significantly depending on several factors. A child that weighs 7kgs vs 12kgs may impact the range by 40%. Another important factor is if your rider is heavy on the throttle. At walking pace we have recorded up to 15km range, but going flat-out on a dirt track or pump track, it may only get 10kms. It really is dependent on so many factors! At the end of the day, as long as our Squiggle rider is having fun, it can always be re-charged if needed for longer trips, or a spare battery can be purchased.

If I buy the 12inch Squiggle, can I upgrade it when my child becomes older?

Yes, of course you can. We make our squiggle bikes with the intention of lasting a rider several years. We can simply replace your wheels with larger wheels and the 12inch Squiggle will become the 14inch Squiggle. Its that easy. Costs may vary over time, but we expect both wheels to be purchased for around $80.

What happens if I break something. Is there parts available?

Don’t worry, here at Squiggle we have your back. We have an huge parts list for our Squiggle support team to work from. We have most parts in stock, and if not, we will get them for you. We pride ourselves on providing the upmost in customer after-sales and will always do our best to ensure your Squiggle rider is not out of action for to long.

Do you make even bigger Squiggles?

Unfortunately here at Squiggle we make only the 12inch and 14inch. Our sole purpose is to get your little Squiggle rider up and going from never riding before. Once a Squiggle rider accomplishes confident riding on a 14inch bike, we find they are more than ready to attempt pedal power. We all love power, but at some time, that exercise plays a big part in a riders progression into bigger bikes.

What is the Warranty and how does it work?

At Squiggle we offer a 2 year warranty on the bike and accessories and a 1 year warranty on the Battery. This is one of the best warranties in the cycling industry and our Squiggle support team pride themselves on offering this back support and service. If you have a significant warranty issue where the bike needs to be returned to us, your only responsibility is to ship get it to our warehouse, the rest of the service is free, including freight back to your normal residence.

Does it matter if I buy from Squiggle or a local store?

Not at all. Squiggle supports all our resellers the same as if you purchased locally from one of your stores. The Squiggle bike has been awesome for both our kids. We have the smaller one for our 4 year old and the larger one for our 6 year old. The bikes have allowed us as a family to exercise without having to worry about which kid we have to carry home. The bikes seem to get very good distance as we have never had a flat bike yet. We always charge before our walks. Would recommend to anyone who has an active family.​

Beats pushing a Pram

Up until we received the Squiggle, both of us could not go walking together unless we pushed a Pram with us all the way, even if our little guy wanted to walk, because he we all know what kids are like, they get tired after not too long. I cannot think of a better product on the market that allows all of us to enjoy each others company without the added complications of prams, strollers, or simply carrying. We both recommend these bikes to anyone that has small children that are not quite there with riding a pedal bike. We have not had any issues with it, and it is simply to operate. It’s a shame they weren’t around when our eldest kid was younger.

Our little fella loves the Squiggle bike. He refers to it as his motor bike. We don’t do long distance with it, but have found Thomas can ride on it for around 1hr on the bike track at our local park and it still shows it has power, just low. I will say that because of the design of the throttle, if you are looking at purchasing one, get some gloves from your bike store. We found operating the throttle all the time caused blisters on the side of his thumb.

Packaged tight in a cardboard box, the Squiggle bikes will arrive with you having to put on only the front wheel, handlebars and seat. We estimate that for a beginner, this may take up to 10 minutes.Due to the battery requirements, our Squiggle bikes are safely shipped around the country as road freight and will be delivered straight to your door.We use Australian Couriers TNT, DHL, Toll and Australia Post for all domestic shipping of bikes and parts. We are pleased to advise that we warrant our Squiggle bikes for 2 years. That’s right! For 2 years you get piece of mind that our product will survive your Squiggle riders antics. What Size Squiggle Bike Should I get?

Our Squiggle bikes are suited best for ages between 3 and 6 years of age. We have had some taller and more capable 2 year olds ride them, but this is not common.
